A native of Jerusalem shaped by years in Los Angeles and now based in New York City, Menachem ("Petool") Furmanski is a self-taught artist specializing in portraiture and fine illustration.

His intricate, exacting style is informed by a distinct creative lens and rich cultural perspective. Driven by an innate artistic urge from an early age, Menachem began by sketching cars, city streets, and expansive urban landscapes before dedicating his focus to portraiture over sixteen years ago. Today, his work bridges expressive realism with meticulous detail, translating personality and mood into striking black-and-white works of art.
